INDEPENDENT REferal network

Unlike many other Victoria real estate agents, June does not accept referral fees from any professional in her referral network other than a licensed realtor.  When June refers you to another realtor either because the search is outside of her personal area of expertise or because she is temporarily unavailable, she will typically ask for and receive a referral fee of 25% of the commission earned from the other realtor. Asking for a referral fee from another licensed realtor is standard practice within the industry and cooperation in this regard between realtors essential as realtors are expected to be available at all times and this is not always even physically possible!

 

However, when June refers you to another professional such as a building inspector, lawyer or mortgage broker, she will not accept cash or any other incentive payment from that professional.

 

As well, June does not pay cash referral fees to anyone for referring business to her. She may buy dinner for valued clients to thank them for referring business to her however!
